Checkers consistent in poor service

I visited Checkers on Kloof yesterday and noticed they had priced a vintage wine incorrectly, therefore I asked the question at the till.

The store rule is to give the customer item at the price they found it.

Instead of offering this the manager approached me defensively and smug trying to avoid giving me the wine at the said price. He argued with me until it was taken up by his manager. Even then the store manager did not follow rules- which is to offer the product at the said price.

Checkers consistently gives poor service from tellers to management.

They should take notes from Woolworths!!! A customer is a customer no matter what your perception of them is!
