Checkers complaint

On 2nd December I went for my regular checkup at Kroon hospital, as we waited for the doctor to arrive, I sent my daughter to Checkers to go buy us pies. As I ate my pie it tasted awful, I immediately tried to call customer care in vain, because I was already feeling cramps in my stomach. I then searched for Checkers Kroonstad on Facebook, I lodged my complaint via their Facebook messenger. They responded. The following day I made follow up, they said they will get back to me. After a few days they called and offered me to come choose anything from the bakery. Shockingly they offered a small slice of cake. I feel ****** as a regular customer at that store. I am not happy how they handled this matter. Considering the fact that I am a cancer patient. I am not happy at all.
