Checkers Cobble Walk & Charities

I am part of a charity that feeds 4000 people in Cape Town per week. We order and pay for several pre-cut loaves of bread from Checkers at Cobble Walk, Durbanville to feed starving people.

The bakery section is aware of the fact that the bread is intended to feed the poor, yet they continue to not provide the pre-cut bread on time, and damage the packed loaves to such an extent that we cant use them for sandwiches. Furthermore, their staff is incredibly rude to the selfless lady who collects the bread and has to wait for them to do their jobs.

It is about time that Checkers takes accountability and supports local charities like ours by treating their loyal clients with respect.
