Checkers cheating on prices

On Monday 12 October I did my weekly grocery shopping at Checkers at Ferndale on Republic. Upon paying for my groceries I noticed that the total was excessively high and I had to check my till slip. It was over by R59.00 I then notified the staff and I was then only refunded R34.00. The Manager Geoffrey barely acknowledged me and did not even speak to me directly, he kept speaking to a staff member whom had to translate to English and tell me what was happening. All this time I was calm and did not make a fuss. When I got home, I double checked the totals and see that again I was owed R25. I returned to the store less than an hour later, wanted to speak to Geoffrey - whom refused and said that he does not know who I am. A supervisor, Gugu assisted me - she was very polite and assisted me professionally and with proper customer service. It is not the first time I am cheated out of paying more at Checkers, and everyone should double check their slips if possible. The manager Geoffrey Dzaudzau at Checkers Ferndale is not worthy of the title and should be ashamed of the way he mistreats customers.
