Checkers champagne savings fiasko

Their advertising on Xtra Savings specials is very misleading, or doing mathematics in the correct way is not their strong suit. Very disappointed and will definitely not shop there if I have any other choice.

You can not state something is FREE, if it is included in the average price of the special product.

I wanted to buy 2 specials of champagne: 2x3x6x750ml, R67.49 and get ONE CASE FREE. (I thought the total will be R2429, 64)

Turns out they deduct 2 cases, and you pay for 6. Which brings down the average per bottle to R67.49.

Total nonsense.
