CHECKERS bad customer service

i recently visited the new checkers store at the glen mall,the layout and the store itself is amazing but the service is really bad.i had waited 45min to buy a milk.the store itself was not busy but the store was understaffed they had not 1 teller at the under 10 items and at the tills no packers where the cashier had to pack as well.i spoke to the manager on duty which was on Saturday the 30 November and he was really unhelpful with no apology.it seems as he needs to get trained on customer service.i explained to him i had been waiting 45min to pay for milk and i would like to submit a complaint he said i should complain to the number on the receipt which i asked which one with no response i then asked should i complain on hello peter and he said yes.which is why i am doing so.if he had apologized and explained why this was the case and it is not normal i would have understood.but i really feel for a new store this kind of shortage of staff and behavior is unacceptable.checkers please can you look into it.
