Checkers appalling customer treatment
My wife went to checkers to do groceries at checkers st John's. It was after a long day of doing her hair and nails so hmshe decided to grab some samosas while shopping (2 samosas) and pay for the paper after.
So when she was at the till all was paid for but forgot the samosa paper so she can pay for it. Long story short she was handcuffed and placed in a solidified area label as a ***** for R15.65. She was not resisting arrest and not running away willing to fix the mistake of forgetting to pay for the samosas but they refused and she was jailed SAPS came for her and was arrested.
Fine with the process but why are your securities hand cuffing her and refused her to use her fone. The humiliation around people for mere samosas on she forgot to pay and worse it was her pay day and the groceries were 10 times the amount paid at the till.
Is that how Checkers treats customers??????
