Checkers and false advertising

Checkers are my favorite food retailer, but I am not happy with them at the moment ! I went to their website, and it said that they have a special on Country fresh 1.8 L ice cream at the moment (2 x for R 110), but when I wanted to pay for it in-store, they tell me this is a 60/60 deal only ? Even though it does not specifically say so on the website ? False advertising, if you ask me, NOT HAPPY ! :(
