Checkers advertise big but deliver nothing.

yesterday Checkers had four full pages of adverti*****ts for discounts on wine and hard liquor, in Beeld. I went to Checkers Silver Lakes only to find that they were not aware of the discounts, nor did they have any stock of the advertised goods. How is that possible? Mr Frank Tshabalala, the wine expert, was very apologetic and blamed "Head Office" for the miscommunication. He offered to give me a rain check on the same prices for whenever they would have stock. With all liquor stores closing on Thursdays, I had to go to the opposition next door to buy the week-ends stock.
