Checkers 60 is unreliable!

Why are there time slots on Checkers 60 when the order will arrive way early?

I ordered knowing I was not home and set a specific time for delivery because I would be home then. The delivery man found nobody home, as expected because I was not there. What an inconvenience. I'm very disappointed and confused.
