Checker N1 City - Negligence need to be answered for

My wife (55) went to Checkers 26.05.2024 N1 City as she normally does for years.

She walked with our baby in her arms and as she came to the till she slipped on milk that was spilled on the floor previously. There were no warning signs at all. My wife fearing for our baby fell on her back with our baby in her arms, Her wrist, back and both ankles were injured and swollen.

She clearly had a concussion since she could not remember that she had her baby in her arms while falling, her sister had to tell her. The Checkers staff asked her if she would like to sit and she had to take a few moments to get up, they bandaged her wrist and put her in a wheelchair in order to go home, the Checkers Manager took the relevant pictures of the scene.

Subsequently, my wife, had to go to the doctor for x-rays incurring medical bills.

She is currently getting back pains sporadically and every night I have to rub out her wrist and ankles.

In her workplace she has to stand allot and this makes it even worst for her. She sent an email to Checkers with regards to her medical bills, pain, and suffering. They did not respond or acknowledge her communication,

This is very upsetting for me to see my wife in pain and yet the big corporate companies does not sympathize with their customers only their pockets. I can only imagine how many customers are sent home and never get compensated for the negligence caused by big corporate companies.

This has unfortunately led me to seek legal advise.
