Cashier with bad attitude at Checkers Majuba Mall Newcastle

I normally buy lunch there as i work in the same shopping centre but today the cashier who assisted us had a very bad attitude, I'm not sure if maybe the customer that she helped before us rubbed her off the wrong way or what, but i also work in a customer facing environment and what she did or the way she spoke to us was completely unacceptable, her name is Thando Selepe and worst part is she had the "Cashier Of The Month" badge on her, which makes me question the level of customer service in that store, if the cashier of the month behaves that way i can only wonder about the rest of the stuff who are not cashiers of the month, she must learn to speak to customers, we had to walk away to avoid causing a scene as she was starting to shout at us, i even asked the lady who was packing what they did to her since she is so angry and rude, if she was ****ed off by someone else she must not take her frustrations on other people, the level of customer service leaves a lot to be desired if they have rude cashiers of the month, if she doesn't want to do right and treat customers with respect then she's in the wrong line of work, we buy at this store simply because we are supporting the business but we have pick n pay and spar just up the road and such bad shopping experiences drive customers straight into other stores, cashiers are the face of any business so they must act accordingly not to just throw tantrums at customers
