Careless Loafs

No mention here of the other chain that will never be respected as bakers. But what's with the 'couldn't-care-less' l oafs at Checkers? No respect for bread? Why is a fantastic cheese selection spoiled only by freshly-baked, crisp, and crunchy 'artisanal' loaves reduced to soggy excuses (notwithstanding the baker's best efforts), by packing in plastic!? If we wanted a pre-sliced commercial best-of-both loaf packed in plastic, we would buy one. But a perfect ciabatta?! And nary a paper or paper alternative for the premium-priced product available?! *****s of bread from the world are in mourning!
