Canal Walk - Combo Butter deal with product expiry dates less than 2 weeks away!

Somewhat disappointed with Checkers - well at least the Canal Walk branch. As the saying goes, there is always reason when something is too good to be true. Your current special of 2 x President Butter 250g for R59 combined is exactly that! If you look at the expiry date, it's less that 2 weeks away (ie 27/02/19). Obviously that's why it's on special....and I would have expected some sort of a notice to that effect. Mentioned and showed it to two staff members, but other than an acknowledgement, not much else was done.
