Black on black violence

Yesterday being the penultimate day of the heydays sales, a friend of mine was going to checkers in Sandton, I tagged along with him and when I was thre decided to grab a few items myself.

I had bought a burger from the deli, went to go pay my for it along with the rest of my things, and after paying I left my groceries in my friends trolley and asked the cashier whre I cn go warm my burger. She told me to go to the deli, when I got thre and ask two ladies to help me, they told me I needed a receipt for them to warm it up, which is all well. My problem is however that nobody communicated to me either in writing or the cashier that I need a slip to warm up my food, I explained to them that my receipt was in the trolley in front and that could they pls warm up the food as I didn't know know abt this supposed rule and that nowhere is it communicated to customers. The one lady proceeded to tell me that if I don't like the rules I should call the manager, of which I did and explained the whole story to him. He then told the ladies to warm up the burger and they refused, after which he went to warm it up himself. At this point I was rather infuriated and I was telling these ladies that I'm gona take this matter forward and begun taking pictures of them of which they weren't pleased as they were covering they faces, as we exchanged insults.

But what's most saddening about this is that, black people who work in the service industry still suffer from a colonized mindset of treating black customers like **** and then being extra nice to white customers but then when shoprite count their profits at the financial year end or money isn't segregated into black customers money or white customers money, sum thing really needs to be done about this, if you guys really care about the consumer like you're always going on in your adverti*****ts or you just care about extracting as much value for your own profits??
