BLACK FRIDAY - LOYAL CUSTOMERS TREATED BADLY

Went to Checkers Windermere this morning to take advantage of the Black Friday Specials. I live in the residential section of the Centre and shop (almost exclusively) at this store. I knew that my shopping would be heavy + bulky (washing powder, coffee, toilet rolls) and knew that I would have a problem getting it up to my flat, as such, I approached the Admin person in the store, asked if I could take a trolley up to my flat to return it immediately after. Only to be told \absolutley not"and was patronisingly given a speech about the trolley being the property of Checkers (I am very aware of this fact - exactly why I asked first). I even offered to leave a deposit and was curtly told that it is not how Checkers operates"
