Be very carefull when considering sending other persons vouchers online with the Checkers/Shoprite/ Usave system.

My employer gave me a voucher through the Checkers/Shoprite/Usave system. I was sent an SMS by the system telling me that I must take the SMS that contains a barcode to Checkers/Shoprite/Usave and either spend it in one transaction or transfer the value to a gift voucher.

I tried transferring the value to a gift card at various Branches of these stores and nowhere could it be done.

What actually stood out is that at none of the branches did the Branch managers actually wanted to assist in solving the issue and would rather refer you to someone Else.

In future I will not opt for any e-vouchers from Checkers/Shoprite/Usave again when my employer gives me the option and I would also make sure that other employees do not do that as well as your system does not work.

Your managerial staff also proved that your customers is not important to them or your company.
