Bananas from Ecuador

Why do they sell Bananas from Ecuador????? SA has huge Banana farms, so why the need to import? I point blank refuse to eat anything imported that is grown in SA. Doesn't Checkers support empowering people in SA with jobs? I feel it is an utter disgrace.... I will not spend another cent at Checkers unless they start focusing on SA products that are readily available
