bakery selling stale goods baked days ago

<p>I always get very disappointed everytime I visit the bakery at Checkers Waverley. I went to the bakery this afternoon. I asked politely if the goods I was about to purchased were baked the same day. The lady looked at me surprisingly and said yes. I purchased 6 donuts. As I got to the office I didnt even get through one bite. the donuts were as hard as rock and smelling very stale. I was quite disgusted. Is it allowed by law to sell goods as stale as I always get them at this Checkers? Okay lets say for instance its allowed, I asked if the goods were baked the same day and the response I got was a "YES"... Are employees allowed to lie blatantly to consumers like that? I feel that I have totally wasted my time and my valuable money. I always get so disappointed at Checkers. I have been ****** and cheated of my valuable money. I will advice everyone tro never visit Checkers Waverly, the food looks good on display but trust me its a waste of money to buy baked goods at this Checkers</p> <p> </p> <p>Disgusted and very angry</p>
