Bad service at Checkers Hillcrest corner

Worst customer service at Checkers, based in Hillcrest corner shopping mall, old Mai n road, Hillcrest. This is almost the whole sections of the store. This is supposed to be convenient for someone who works in the same mall. But I prefer to go in the Centre across the road, that has Pick n Pay, as their staff is friendly and offering good service.

Today's incident involves on of the managers. I went there to buy g****tise with the intention to have it after my meal. Logically, you will expect it to be cooled in the fridge. But for Checkers, NO. how I know, it is because it is not the first time I wanted to buy it, the previous time, it did not bother me, as I wanted to keep it at home.

So there was him, with 2 gents on the isle where I got it. I then asked the guy who seem to be a merchandiser, if they don't keep it all in the fridge? He said this particular store does not, he does not understand why? I took it, as I had already warmed my food at work. Then I though since the manager is there, I might just as well make a suggestion, as the client. I turned around, went there, greeted, asked him if they don't keep some in the fridge at all, should some want to buy and have it, right away. He responded to say no they don't.

So I said, may be just as a suggestion, you can keep a few in the fridge, should someone want to have it, immediately after paying for it. He responded with facial expression, full of sarcasm. I actually went back to the isle, left it, and I went to Pick n Pay.

It is important to offer good customer service. There may be occasional occurrences, but whenever you go there, does not matter how many times in a day or week, there has to be something from the person who serving.

The vegetable weighing sometimes is unattended, one time I waited, ended up going to the management office. A white elderly guy who works there helped me. The Deli, you will ladies working there, busy on the side that has our food prepared, I think, they will notice that there is a string of customers, they will not bother. If one decides to come, they will not even apologize, I have left that counter, because it's unattended, several occasions. The ladies there are so rude. The one with the bended middle finger, if I'm not mistaken, is the worst.
