Bad service and attitude from butcher assistant, he even served me rotten biltong.

I went to Checkers at Blueberry Square on the 16 December 2024 at around 11:50, I went to the butchery section in which I was made to stand for few minutes without an assistance and when the guy approached me he was so irritated and I asked him " why does he look angry becaus he just came and stood in front of me without even greeting" I then asked him to cut 3 pieces of biltong for me.

He went to the back and came back to put the biltong on the scale, I took my order paid and left.

I got home and I was so surprised and shocked! I was given very dry and old biltong, it seems like the crumbles from the old cutting.

I tried to call the store at around 17:35 after opening the packet, but I gues they were closed as if is a holiday.

What have I done to that guy to give me rotten biltong that I had to pay R87.40 for? His attitude and approach was disgusting at the first place and he them decided to give me old rotten biltong!

I know that I've chosen a fresh biltong and his job was just to cut it,and I was so shocked that how come 2 big pieces had cost so less but I decided to just take and pay.
