BAD SERVICE

Today I went to Checkers Blue Route Mall and bought a few items. I got to the till and there was no tag on the pocket of onions for the cashier to scan. She called for help with a barcode tag and while waiting I told her it's a 7kg onions and it's R49.99. She said to me no it can't be, it looks like a 10kg. I told her I asked the lady that works in the fruit n veg department for the price of the onions and she said it's R49.99 and that's its a 7kg (not that they even had 10kg) While waiting for the fruit n veg lady to get there the cashier asked the cashier next to her about the onions and that lady also said to her its a 7kg, but the cashier helping me was not happy with that and insisted its 10kg. By this time I was feeling so embarrassed and humiliated. This woman was treating me like a ***** and a **** in front of all the people waiting in the Q. Then the fruit n veg lady finally came and confirmed that the onions is R49.99 and that it's a 7kg and the cashier told her it can't be, is she sure. I was furious with tears in my eyes and told her to leave the onions cos I'd rather go to another store. I was to embarrassed to keep standing there and be humiliated further. As i took my till slip walking away, the till packer and the cashier burst out laughing. I'm so disgusted in the way I was treated today. The cashier that helped me, her name is Nikiwe Ntaka. I even took a picture of her. You know, I drive out of my way and pass Spar and Pick n Pay that's in my area to shop at Checkers instead. I'm so sorry to say that I will never set foot in any Checkers store again. I never in my life experienced this in any other store. This is no way to treat any customer that walks into any store. Checkers, we've come a long way, but I'm sorry I can't shop at your stores anymore and will make sure my friends and family don't either.
