Bad Service

I had went to a Checker HYPER in Meadowdale Mall, I had only gone shopping there for 1 reason - the little garden. The shelves were empty., which I can understand being payday weekend and the staff were packing the shelves. I had asked 2 staff members for the Nescafe Gold that was on special and the Firstchoice 1.5l milk - 6pack. The lady didn't even check and just said no. I asked her (very nicely) to check, she said 'Okay, I will check in the stores" Waiting ...waiting for 1/2 hour to go back and find that she had never left. She just said sorry and carried on talking to the other gentlemen who was helping her. I complained to the grocery managed and he just said sorry. With the little Garden, they had no stock and nothing incoming and NO OTHER CHECKERS HAD IT, they said the promotion was ending next week, The lady was actually rude about it. Anyway later, I went to another smaller Checkers in Edenvale -where they had the coffee, and milk and little Garden, She said the they had plenty and the promotion was not ending anytime soon. She was very nice about it and gave me 2 extra. (Thank you Checkers Edenvale) This shows that the smaller stores are more capable of handling customers.
