Bad News Checkers

I went into Checkers Blu Bird Mall of Corlette Drive in JHB on Sunday morning to buy a kettle for my 86 year old Dad. I bought the kettle drove to my dad's retirement Village in Sandton. Opened the box and then found that the power supply unit did not come with, I took the box, drove back to the shop. I was assisted first by a male person with a tag which said that he was the Liqueur store manager, he then said that he could not help me and that he must find the Store manager. Another gentleman appeared and he opened the box, Well here it got very interesting, he then said that the kettle in the box where not supp**** by Checkers and that it was a PnP product. He did not say it in so many words but he accused me of switching products in front of staff and public. I had just paid for that kettle and returned it within 30 minutes, why in the world would I do that for a R 180-00. It is beyond me . I Asked for his name and found out from other staff that he is called Jerry or Jeremya. I spend about 4-6 k a month at Checkers Blu Bird, but that will be the last of that. Never ever again will I spent 1 c at Checkers. They kept the kettle, and good luck for Checkers who sold me a product that they should not have had in their store, That product that came from their shelves was their mistake.
