Bad food, bad service

<p>Having bought a chicken from Checkers de Grendel, I returned home and the chicken had a coloured elastic band around the leg that looked like a hair tie. The chicken also still had all of insides and smelt aweful. Very embarrassed, as we had guests, I returned to Checkers to complain. Greeted by a supervisor upon my entry, she had a look at the chicken, agreeing that it was not satisfactory, and apologized. I wanted to speak to a manager to make a formal complaint and was told to wait 2 minutes for Ronelle. Ronelle was quite dismissive, talking to other people while talking to me (I was told to "just wait, sir") and overall not even looking at the problem with the chicken I had brought back. Ronelle asked for my slip, directed me at a time, asked if I want anything else and proceeded to process a refund without asking if I wanted one. Overall, I felt that the supervisor would have given me much better service and seemed to actually want to help me. What use is a manager that does not treat customers better than the supervisor that works below her? Now, we have no dinner and do not wish to return to Checkers for any of their cooked food any time soon. </p>
