Bad Customer Service

I am a regular shopper at Checkers Kragga Kamma. This morning I went to purchase a few items. First of all, I was looking for Cans of Coke. The guy who was busy unpacking water in the isle did not know if there were any and went to look for someone else. I walked further down the isle and found cans in the fridge. Both of them came back, one with a sixpack of Coke Cans which he went to fetch in the back and I told them, thankyou but I had found it already in the fridges.

The second incident came when I paid for my groceries and went to the front counter to purchase a Checkers Savings book and savings coupons. there was 1 lady on duty, busy helping customers with flight tickets it sounded like. There was another lady standing around between this counter and the tobacco counter, looked like a supervisor. I asked her if she could help me get a Savings Coupon Book. She asked me if I was going to buy Stamps as well, to which I rep**** yes. Then she informed me that unfortunately she can't help me. There is only 1 lady that could (the one that was busy). I then approached the new Manager, Malcolm, whom I have to say, has already improved the store a great deal. Fresh produce are on the shelves just after 8 unstead of 10h30am . He informed me that these were different departments and he will see if there is someone else to help me. I waited a while and decided that this is absolute nonsense. Although this might be 2 different departments, surely this woman who looked like a supervisor knew how to operate the process of a customer purchasing savings stamps. The attitude she gave me, was not customer friendly and it felt like walking into a wall. Total unwillingness. She obviously liked it better to just stand around, twiddling her thumbs. I have a job and can't wait half an hour to purchase savings stamps. Please train these people to assist in these cases and have backup!
