Bad Customer Service

<p>Shopping yesterday was a bad experience for me with regards to customer service. There were no staff to assist at the fruit & vegetable section. I went to the deli to find out who was designated to weighting the produce. After assisting her customer she walked away without acknowledging me and when I called after her she said she never saw me - what a blatant lie. She finally arranged for someone to assist us as there were now three customers waiting - no apology! Queuing at the <em>10 or less tills</em> was a nightmare. All cramped in with rows of trolley baskets and a wine spillage that took forever to clean and reduce the tills to one till. I bought two bottles of Robertson Spices and wanted them at the special price - 2 Robertson Herb Spice for R29-99. It wasn't in the promotional leaflets, they went to check the shelf and after bringing the shelf talker said that it wasn't for my product because it was a spice and the special was for herbs only. I insisted that it was misleading because it said Robertson Herb Spices but only the herbs were on special. The sign was a grammatical error because herbs are not a spice. They wouldn't give the special and I said I would take it up with their head office. </p>
