Bad Attitude of Tellers

So whilst the Checkers Hyper in Fourways Mall looks stunning and amazing - the till staff i encountered was pathetic. I purchased goods on the 19th Dec around 6pm. Teller 15. I greeted and was ignored. I noticed several staff standing around as it was near closing time however no one seemed to be packing. The teller asked how many packets i would need and i responded it would depend based on the packing. I proceeded to ask whether anyone would be packing and she responded that she doesnt know. How can she not know. Who was doing it for the entire day? When will these tellers be taught how to be friendly and courteous? One of the staff members noticed our conversation and chatted to the teller in vernacular. Obviously the teller must have mentioned the packing because then someone came and assisted with the packing. Why would staff be standing around without assisting and wait for be asked. I understand that people are tired but assist and everyone can get done sooner.
