Bad attitude at 9:30am

I went to Checkers Mthatha Plaza where a lady in bakery had no manner of approach it was 9:30 am in the morning as I greet the lady all she could ask was how many facades do you want? To my surprise as I also work in retail she kept on asking the same question with a silly tone and a loud voice to a point I said just leave them I don't want them anymore. Are the Checkers employees thought of manners and how to treat customers I doubt that they are taught judging at no response given by their employee when being greeted by a client.
