Bad Advertising

Dear Peter on the 20th of Oct.2015. Checkers Hyper N1 City had a promotion on Russel Hobbs kettles R99.99 and phillips for R9.99.I called Checkers and ask them to keep me 10 of each for my colleagues. I spoke to Ivan The manager of the food Department and he went on the internet.he said told he will first have to speak to the store manager .they were discussing it .after an hour Ivan called me to tell me it was a printing error .first he told me it is not their store, not even an apology, I'm the customer. if you are shopping in a store whatever the price is on the shelve, you pay, to me it seems they don't want to take the blame. Immediately the Flyer was remove from the Internet .If I did not Notify them the error would not be picked , many more people will go and look for the promotion. I still have copies of the advert.is this how they treat their customers? I even called the head office I spoke to Monique she said it was a printing error.
