ATTEND TO THE COLD MEAT DEPARTMENT

This is not a bad review even though I am rating this 1 star, reason being is to bring awareness to this ongoing problem Checkers Vredenburg (west coast mall).

So, this is my sister's story, and I would like to a acknowledge how great the Branch manager handle this because he made us feel at ease and made us feel like he understands. With that being said let me explain the complaint we have; this is probably my sister's third time experiencing this. She stays in Saldanha Bay and Shops very often at your Checkers Branch in the West coast Mall, so her buying her weekly/monthly groceries and chicken was on the list this time, she got home after doing her shopping and she wanted to prepare something to eat for her family and got the worst smell after opening the chicken, this was a shock to her cause even though she has gotten rotten cottage cheese from the same store and expired stock but this was the worst, she was on her way to cape town the next day and couldn't go back to the store, when she eventually went back to the store she was helped by your friendly branch manager who helped and apologized for this. We appreciated the small gift added to this as well, even though your Branch manager sorted it out this still costed my sister R500 petrol to back and forth and sort this out so. This is basically just to make it known that there is a problem with your cold meat department and for you guys to attend to this problem before people get sick of rotten meat.
