As a customer driven business, Checkers !

My story is pretty straight forward, I bought bad food - Yes I was contacted by Checkers - who after lots of hassles and up’s and downs - decided to refund me for my purchases an amount of R300.00 which I declined - I was then told that the R300.00 was offered out of Good Gesture and when I declined the offer - I was bluntly told to collect my voucher at the store. The problem is that the R300.00 good gesture does not compensate for the absolute waste of time and money, furthermore I did not ask for monetary compensation - but rather that they look into the product as well as the handling of the product shelf life etcetera. If Checkers wants to compensate me, then be descent about it and not make me seem like I asked for Money. If you want to put money on the table then make it worth while' I would think that staff is probably not trained correctly wrt handling fresh produce. The person who was liaising with me on behalf of Checkers was not very empathetic but rather pathetic, Alize Feris’ needs to be trained on how to deal with a complaint by actually putting herself in the situation as we are all customers at the end of the day - & nobody takes already cooked food back to a store - besides embarrassing, it should not even get to that stage– or be suggested by a Customer Complaints Officer.

Hi I would like to know how Checkers just ignores their customers?
