Appalling management

Went to Checkers Kwena Square this afternoon. I was buying samoosa’s from their deli and i was shocked at how the kitchen manager(an Indian male in his early 30s) decided to reprimand the guy serving me in my presence. I’m all for ofer and discipline but surely he could wait until i was served but no he decided to give this poor guy a piece of his mind, next thing the guy serving me was shaking with embarrassment and couldn’t hear a word of what i was saying. Things just became so awkward after that even the people waiting to be served were so embarrassed on this guy’s behalf. Is this how you treat your staff, like *******? Is decency too much to ask for? Pick n Pay is across the road from Checkers. It’s been there longer. Their staff are treated much better and it creates and much pleasant shopping experience. I’d rather go back there than to witness human beings being degraded and dehumanised.
