Appalling customer service by Checkers Gezina Galleries manager

I was so dissatisfied and disappointed when I went to Checkers Gezina Galleries to return my platinum sport blender. Upon explaining how dissatisfied I was with the product and asking for my refund, I was told by Sarah and her manger that I have to drive all the way back to Brits Checkers to return it since they can't give me a refund because it will be a loss on their side. I just can't bring myself to understand how efficient and proactive customer servive can be forsaken to that extent without taking a customer's inputs into account. I made mention that I don't stay in Brits, I purchased the blender while in transit between Rustenburg and Polokwane. I work between Polokwane and Pretoria. What I experienced today is absolutely distraught and can't even be equated anywhere near to a code of proficient customer service..
