App says item is out of stock BUT the item is on the shelf when going to the store!!!

Items are marked as out of stock but are IN STOCK in store! It’s always the sale items that they don’t have. I was told that the staff can’t have someone go check if they have the items in storage because of the Sixty60 guidelines, what bs is that?
