Angry Ex Loyal Customer

I went to Checkers Hyper in Pavilion on Black Friday, where I purchased a baby cot, advertised on their website for R500.00. On the Adverti*****t is clearly states that the Mattress is included in the price, however when the sales lady came to assist me, she advised that the Mattress is not included in the price. I didn't want to argue with her so I purchased the cot without the Mattress and left. The Mattress cost a further R450.00. I went on to the website again and there it was, "Basinette with Mattress". I went back the following day and showed them the add on the website, but a manager by the name of Lesley insisted that the little hardboard covered with material qualifies as a Mattress. I became VERY angry as I felt that this was false advertising and completely misleading to the customer, as my layman view of a Mattress is something more firm and soft, more adequate for a baby to be laid on. Another lady assistant by the name of Sandra was standing by and I asked her if she would lay her baby on the hardboard and she rep**** yes, which further aggravated me. I am completely appalled by Checkers and the way they treated this situation. Me and my wife are loyal Checkers buyers, but my Supermarket of choice has changed from today and I will not return to Checkers for anything. Please note that I will spread this incident far and wide until I receive a response from Checkers... Angry Ex loyal Checkers client....
