AN UNPLEASANT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

I had a very unpleasant customer experience at Checkers, Rivonia on Friday. I went there to do two things:- 1. Buy tickets at Computicket 2. Pay Municipal accounts. 1.)So firstly the lady at the Computicket counter told me they had no electricity and I must come back in an hour. But actually, the system was re-booting and was up within 10 minutes. So just as well that I didn't go back to work, and wasted time going back to the store. 2.) I started paying the municipal accounts and while the cashier was busy with them, I ran up to the aisles to get some colddrinks. When I got back to the cashier, she had cancelled my transactions and had started serving other customers. 3.) As I was leaving the store, the "greeter" wearing a very large "welcome!" sash, told me that I must transfer my purchased goods from the small basket trolley to a full-size trolley. He did not assist me to do so. However, when I got out to the parking lot, other basket trolleys were standing outside in the returned trolleys bay 4.) When tried to leave the parking, I submitted my Checkers free parking voucher only to be told that I should have had it validated at the machine outside Checkers. So I had to go back, park and validate the ticket and go back to the exit. It's a pity that the both cashier and computicket lady chose not to give me that advice, especially when I thanked them profusely for the free parking voucher. All in all, an unpleasant experience and I'll avoid the store in future.
