Title: Great Store, But Poor Service at Express Tills
I have been shopping at the new Checkers at Prince Buthelezi Mall and, overall, the store is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The products are fresh and the shopping experience is pleasant in most areas of the store. However, I am very disappointed with the service at the express tills (10 items or less). The staff working at these tills have a poor attitude towards customers. They are often unfriendly, rude when asked simple questions, and do not assist with packing items. As a customer, this is quite frustrating, especially when you are trying to use the express till for a quick and convenient checkout. It is unfortunate because this behavior takes away from what is otherwise a great store. I have noticed that service at the other tills is much better, so the issue seems to be specific to the express checkout staff. Management needs to address this urgently, as it is negatively affecting the store’s reputation. Friendly and helpful service should be consistent across all tills. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience going forward.
