****med by Cheap flights/e dreams

I booked a ticket through cheapflights which directed me to e dreams to finalise the booking for a flight ticket in less than 24 hrs. Received an email to say my booking was unconfirmed and the debited my account with the cost of the flight ticket on Lift airline. I was ****med! I had to get to my father who had a heart attack. Lift airline says they hope I get my money back. How can Lift airline allow ******** to make bookings on their behalf?
