Cheapflights.co.za / KIWI.COM is a *******!!
<p> </p> <p>On 30 December I booked a CemAir flight from George to Bloemfontein through cheapflights.co.za. Cheapflights.com should be called EXPENSIVE.COM!!</p> <p> </p> <p>They compared flights and gave me the cheapest flight at CemAir. I was redirected to KIWI.COM to finalize the ********** I received my confirmation email, but obviously just made sure that the payment went through and also double check the flight time.</p> <p> </p> <p>Tonight, 1 January, the evening before I fly, i went to the confirmation email to double check the flight time to confirm with my lift to the airport.</p> <p>Firstly I noted that I payed R2680 instead of R2524 , and also that ONLY my 6kg hand luggage is included in the price. If I wanted to check in my luggage that I came with on holiday, I need to pay an additional R362!</p> <p>I went back on the website to see that they do say this at the bottom of the page, but I have never ever in my life booked a flight where I have to pay just to get my bag back home! </p> <p>Not knowing how else to get my baggage home, They say that you can manage your booking on the website itself, by just clicking on the add bagage tab, but there is no add button to do so. So tomorrow I have to be at the mercy of the airport itself to try and get my baggage home!!</p> <p>And last but not least when I went on to CemAir's website the flight costs R2208! So booking through cheapflights.co.za, being directed to KIWI.COM I pay R480 more for the flight! PLUS R362 just to get my baggage home, so in total R842 more than just booking at CemAir!! </p>
