Pathetic Horrible home Developer (CHD Projets)

<p>After 7 months of moving in into the newly developed house through CHD projects I am still waiting for them to come and do the retentions as per the contract and promises they made. I have been in contact with them since we moved into the house and to this day we are still waiting for them. The unfortunate part is that I am paying a lot of money towards a house that is of a shame if I may call it. I feel a very deep pain in my heart when I think and see the disasterious poor workmanship of CHD Projects in my house. They have on several occassions promised to come and fix their **** but it was just an empty promises. Calling them now is like calling yourself on your phone as our cries to them fall into deaf ears. They have in numerious occassions ignored my email when I tried to get their attention. The last response received on Monday, 13 February from Julius Sekhale is I quote "Please note that according to our contractor the retentions that was mentioned before are fixed on the 7th of July 2016 including the standard retention(Plumbing, electrical work and settlement/ surface cracks- 3 months) , unless if there’s something new that we are not aware of. Please see attached document. I also advise you to contact the NHBRC ( ********** ) for more information regarding the retentions" The document attached being referred to here is the retention form completed by their contractor but not signed by the owner. They are even proud to say I can report them to the home regulator as they don't give a damn about their clients. The house is of a very poor standard as they used very cheap materials. Taps and shower are leaking, paint is peeling off from the walls, doors are just cardboards , slidding door is not locking, ceiling is cracking, the nightmare one is the cracking walls from inside and outside. You bumb into the corner of the wall it get chipped. Walls are not staight built. No efforts were taken to proudly built the house as they were just after the money that the bank was paying them. They have seen all these poor quality workmanship but they did not see anything wrong but promised to come and fix. I was made to take time off from work on 2 occassions by their contractor who never pitched. This is utterly annoying and disqusting as they continue to give us an attitude after humiliating us through their poor quality standard of houses. This is very unfair and wish that they rework their disaster. How do I pay 20 years for a house house that I am not happy about. I thought a buying off plan a newly developed house meant a peaceful home but I am getting stressed as though I bought an old house voetstoots. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
