Chateaux le Barroness wedding venue
would not recommend this place. If you want a stress-free day, look elsewhere. On the day of our event, there was no coordinator present as discussed, and the staff on duty were confused and unaware of the plans. The waiters were not particularly friendly and removed food from tables while guests were still eating. We paid to use the outdoor area, yet the pool was dirty and even contained a dead rat. Laundry on a washing line was visible through the venue windows — completely inappropriate. The décor was not as discussed, with several key elements missing despite prior agreements. Even the menu was not followed correctly — the dessert we agreed on was wrong. We have contacted the venue directly to raise these concerns, but to date we have not received an explanation or response. This review does not even include all the issues we experienced — otherwise it would be much longer. Based on our experience and reading other reviews, it feels like a gamble — you either get what you were promised or you don’t. For a once-in-a-lifetime event, that risk isn’t worth it.
