let the buyer beware of buying at chat2cars

I bought a car from Daniel Oba a year ago. A charming person, but he sold a car that was dangerous to drive. we got reviews from 3 independent sources to show it was dangerous to drive and would likely kill us. We tried to negotiate but Mr Oba would not take the car back as required by law. we went through the ombudsman, but he is toothless in these situations. He doesn't belong to the retail motor organisation which should have been a red light to us. we had legal letters sent that were ignored. We were advised that even if we win a case, the company would refuse to pay and as it doesn't have assets nothing would be seized. we eventually sold the car to be s****ped and accepted a loss of of the car we bought for R300 000
