Chase tracking "Promotion" that's NO PROMOTION

<p>I received a phone call yesterday from Chasing Tracking calling me with a "promotion" they were running on one of their tracking deveices. They said it was a one day promotion were I would receive a tracker at a rate of R 109 p.m. and free installation. I asked that they send me the information via email. Instead they phoned me later again, describing all the "benefits", also stating that it is a "Beame" tracker unit (which as far as I can see is not). I took out the policy with the understanding that there is a cooling off period of 7 days. I phoned the company today to find out what unit / package it was for which I signed up for, and found out that it is for the classic package with is according to the website R 99 p.m (including free installation). Because of this I felt that I couldn't trust the company with misleading information and cancelled it (NB, I haven't installed the unit yet - this would only happen next week Monday), but because I cancelled it, I now have to pay R 300 cancellation fee for a contract of which the no payment needed be made yet and no unite received yet.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I feel this is a dishonest way of doing bussiness:</p> <p>* Providing misinformation: a promotion which costs more than advertised on the webpage and stating to be a tracker type (Beame) which as far as I can see is not.</p> <p>* Not willing to send information via email as requested.</p> <p>* A cancellation fee for goods that hasn't been received yet.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I won't recommend this company.</p>
