This agency really robe poeple, they refuse to pay us back our money. very Disgusting customer service.

my wife and i we were looking to move from 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom in sea point area, we saw an advert from Chas Everitt 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of sea point, we contact the agent Colleen Ricketts and we set up a viewing for the apartment. once we viewed the apartment, we decided to put an offer. Our offer was to take a longer lease of minimum of 3 years with 5% rent increase for every year, plus 1.5 month deposit with the 1st month paid up front instead of 2 month deposit.

few days later Colleen Ricketts call us to inform us the we got the apartment and that the land lord agreed to our terms, she send us the lease agreement,and mentioned that we have to pay R35k deposite plus R1000 lease fee to secure the property. we transferred the full amount and we signed the lease agreement, only to find out a week later from this excellent agent that the land lord did not agreed on our terms, very disappointed and angry we decided to leave it and ask this agent to deposit back our money. it has been almost 2 weeks and we have been trying to call everyday so we can get back our money, every-time Colleen Rickets give us bullshiit excuse and promise to pay us immediately . now we found a new place that we very happy with but our big Problem is this agency has not yet payed us our deposit money, so now i cannot apply for any property.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP OR ADVISE WHAT TO DO NEXT???
