Chase Everett Rustenburg I am Charlene Kleynhans Got 4 Daughters still in school My Husband passed away on 24/07/2021 of covid 19 Went Chas Everett to view a house in Rustenburg – 67 Springbok Savanna Falls 20/8/2021 No contract or agreement was shown or mentioned to me. I agree that I want the house but need permission from my Boss in Midrand. They did a credit check I paid the R11000 deposit and R11000 rent for the month The contract was mailed to my boss in Midrand 23/08/2021. He immediately mailed the contract back and said he won’t sign due to a clause the owner added that we must take 50% liability on the house. That was never mentioned to me. Then I wouldn’t have paid the deposit. On the 24/08/2021 I contacted Chas Everett to refund me because I’m not going to rent the house due to them not mentioning or showing the contract because of the liability. They refuse to pay back the R22000 I received the letter from Van Velden &Duffy Lawyers because of Clause 1.29. They only have to pay back the R11000 deposit. They rented out the house under false pretences I Want my R22000 back. I’m in a financial crisis.
