Not happy with agent : Andiswa Matama

To Whom It May Concern, I recently bought the property, 5 Ntaba Street, Litha Park in July 2024. The house did not have a working geyser and it was agreed by the estate agent to replace the geyser with a new one. The geyser burst a few days ago and when I tried to lodge a claim, my insurer repudiated the claim, as the geyser was found to be more than 10 years old, 5-6 years out of warranty and of inferior quality. The burst geyser caused further water damage to my ceilings and TV. I am currently without these necessities, with no resolution in sight. The agent and Cashbuild confirmed that a geyser was bough in that period that a new one was supposed to be installed at my house, but it clearly never happened. I see this behaviour as *****ulent and broke my trust in you and the contractors you used to complete this job. I am led to believe that a new geyser was never installed and only small adjustments/repairs were made to temporarily fix the situation. I am thus forced to set an ultimatum that if I do not receive a clear solution by close of business on Monday, I will be forced to pursue legal against you and indirectly, your contractor. This may be civil action and ******** after consultation with my lawyer. I will further claim financial compensation for the water damage caused to my bedroom ceiling, floor and TV.
