Horrible experience
<p>Chas everitt Randburg retained part of my deposit for things that were already damaged and documented in the 1st inspection. I don't know what job their inspector Keith Roth is supposed to be doing if he doesn't know what the state of a house was when a tenant moves in/out. We have since sent them proof of what the apartment was and to date there is no response. This is ********* and I'm taking it up with the rent tribunal. No one deserves to have their hard earned money taken from them. It just that simple business or not. Theye can't get away with this. </p>
The author, Alice Tapiwa, telephoned the principal of Chas Everitt to complain about the amount that the landlord was insisting be withheld to repaint the walls. She asked that the matter be discussed with her husband Albert Sigauke.
The Principal spoke to Albert and Albert insisted that he inspect the property himself. This was arranged and following the inspection, on the 19th December, Albert e-mailed Chas Everitt on the 20th December, and stated, "Please go ahead and deduct whatever amounts that needs to be deducted and lets settle this matter."
An amount equal to 30% of the quote to repaint the unit, as accepted by the landlord, was deducted from the deposit and the balance refunded.

Thanks for your reply Dave. But you need to speak to Keith because the reason Albert said that was because Roz said there was nothing we could do about it as we could not find the photos from the 1st inspection. We then found the photos and sent them to Chas Everitt and you guys still did not respond. If you look at the photos that we sent you from 2014 before moving in and the photos that Keith Sent us claiming that we caused the damaged and tell me if you can spot any difference. Please go through those photos and then counter argue. Keith was not the inspector when we moved in and he claimed that he didn't have a report for the 1st inspection as the inspector left no file. How do you not have RECORDS OF AN INSPECTION??? Does this mean when an employee leaves they take files and leave nothing on their clients history. I personally asked Keith to speak to Bev and Lucinda regarding the initial inspection and said Bev died! We found the photos and sent to him and he decided to go quiet. Kindly explain what that means?

And Dave If you want me to send the 2014 photos directly to you and the ones from Keith's inspection kindly give me your email address. And also just because you put us in a corner so you could take our deposit doesn't make it right.
