Home purchase turned into a nightmare

My mother's home purchase turned into a nightmare. Once her signature was on the dotted line, she got nothing but bullying from their agent and subsequently their attorneys. She purchased a house, a couple of days after moving in, we discovered part of the walls were made of wood instead of real bricks, it was not disclosed to her and it doesn't show because of the rough casting and the paint. In addition to that, Several defects started showing a few days after moving in, Defects which were not visible at the time of viewing. When she reported them to the Agent, they were not even willing to come and see for themselves. They made up all kinds of arguments to dismiss our complaint in order to see the transaction through. So we had to cancel the transfer. It's been over a year now
