We were renting a house from Chas Everitt Polokwane and higlighted to them the defaults of the house when we moved in. They never fixed the defaults but want us to pay for it and is keeping our full deposit until we agree to pay for the damages that we reported when we moved in. I have resend them the emails that we send to them when moving in but they still denying or wanting to except responsibility. Furthermore they want us to pay for the exit inspection and a renewal fee knowing that we never renewed the lease. What we don't understand is that they had an inspection 3 days before we moved out and did not highlight any of the defaults to be our responsibility. It seems like they want us to except responsibility now before paying out our deposit. Is this even legal because it is almost a month now? I have proof of the emails we have send to them. It seems that they find defects with mostly black people unless they can proof me otherwise.
